Saw this over on Decrepit Old Fool. It’s been making the rounds of my favorite blogs:
The sentence is: "That night, after our last performance, I went back to the boardinghouse, put on my nightgown and set the alarm clock."
The meme says not to pick the “coolest” book and since I never read 'cool' books I had nothing to worry about.
- Grab the nearest book.
- Open the book to page 123.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
- Don’t search around and look for the “coolest” book you can find. Do what’s actually next to you.
