Three Days of Rain and a Cat

posted Saturday, 28 April 2007

I've been miserable all week.  I've been sick with something unidentified and tried to work through it.  It rained three days straight making it hard to get to the weekend.  The first day it was supposed to rain intermittently but that would only have been true if intermittent meant raining hard, harder and then brutally hard.  The next day it actually did rain on and off but so hard that I didn't have a chance to dry off.  The third day was a cold mist and I couldn't shake the lousy feeling all day.

I needed a good nights sleep and the weekend but it was not to be.  My daughter had state choir competition in Warren, Ohio and that meant leaving at 6:45 am for an hour and forty-five minute drive each way.  Once back she had a piano recital so there was no rest between the two.  She did a wonderful job on both of her performances and I am very proud of her.

Tonight I'm off to an old time jam in Homerville and tomorrow I have to catch up on a hundred things.

In the meantime I need to do something on this blog that is customary, a cat picture.  When I was leaving for the piano recital I saw the daughter's cat looking cute and took a quick picture.  Enjoy the pic and I'll write more soon.
