Stone Redux

posted Saturday, 4 December 2004
I've received quite a few emails concerning that lone stone in the field. Most want a picture of the actual stone. Here it is:

William Burgett 1852 - 1902

I've completed a rather extensive genealogy of the Burgett family in Ohio. There are two separate Burgett families in Ohio. One settled from New York in Ashtabula, Ohio. My family is not related to them. My family's original name was Burkard and settled in Sheffield Village, Ohio in 1846. They split up with some going to Toledo and a few other sons settling in other counties of Ohio. If you are a cousin, even distant, and want to know more information email me.
