Roy Book Binder is coming

My favorite artist, Roy Book Binder is playing tonight at Kent Stage at 8 pm. I studied with Roy at Jorma Kaukonen's Fur Peace Ranch a few years ago and he is my favorite acoustic blues artist. He is far more than that though. He is a gifted storyteller and a heck of a nice guy.

Roy was a student of Reverend Gary Davis and Pink Anderson. He has a unique style that I've been trying for years to emulate. I will write later about my time with him at the Fur Peace Ranch.

Pick up one of his albums or even better see him live. He is the real deal!
