NeverEnding Winter and Dreams of a New Banjo

posted Saturday, 22 March 2008

Winter has been dragging on and on.  The onset of Spring seems far on the horizon.  I've decided to spend the day before Easter relaxing and catching up on all the little things I've been avoiding.

Meanwhile I've been dreaming of a new banjo.  I've been aching for a fretless banjo ever since I played one made by my banjo teacher Rod (check out his site by clicking HERE ).

I found an interesting banjo that is fretless only on the first five frets.  It's a Kevin Enoch Walnut Tradesman banjo.  After the first five frets it's a normal banjo.  I keep watching the video of Zepp playing Cumberland Gap and every time I get closer to ordering one.

Take a look and let me know what you think.  I love the sound of a fretless.
