Leaping Lizards!

I've written before about the wonders of my job. I've met some truly fascinating people.

A few weeks ago I had a box of crickets for a woman. It's not that unusual to get live crickets so I delivered them. When she came to the door I asked what they were for. She went back inside and came out with a beautiful chameleon that was much bigger and more alien looking than I expected.














Luckily I was on schedule and had a coffee break left so I pulled out the camera and took a couple of pictures.

She also has a bearded dragon lizard that I'd love to get a picture of. She is incredibly knowledgable about these animals.  I learned more in those ten minutes than I could possibly learn from a book.   Someday I'll have to take my daughter over and see all of the odd animals she has.
